Notre Dame de Namur University Student Oscar Munoz Participates in West Coast Model Arab League

Oscar Munoz, of South San Francisco, Calif., was one of eight Notre Dame de Namur University students who participated in the West Coast Model Arab League, hosted by Mills College in Oakland, Calif. March 30–April 1. NDNU students represented the Republic of Iraq; Munoz, a graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School in Bronx, N.Y., served on the Joint Defense Council.

Model Arab League, sponsored by the National Council for US-Arab Relations, is a three-day delegation composed of up to 22 participating universities, each representing a nation from the Arab League of Nations.

Notre Dame de Namur University is an independent Catholic, coeducational institution serving nearly 2000 students.
